I ordered a keepsake necklace for my daughter for her 2020 Graduation as well as her gown, etc. I received the gown etc but did not receive the necklace. I received no notice that the necklace wasn't going to be delivered; not even a notification on my shipping receipt - NOTHING! I have called the main number with no one to answer. I have called my local office and they just keep telling me I will receive my refund when the home office releases it. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE! I ordered this necklace in May... It is now July! NO REFUND YET!

THIS IS HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES! YOU COULD AT LEAST REACH BACK OUT TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!

In early March, I ordered a cap and gown for my college graduation that was scheduled for May 9th. In late April I got an email that it had entered into manufacturing. It is now June 20th and my items have yet to SHIP. I understand production was temporarily halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but many of my peers who ordered their items after me (even within a week of graduation) received their items before our commencement ceremony.

In May, when I realized my order seemed to be late, I called. After 3 WEEKS of calling every other day, being on hold for 2+ hours, leaving a call back number multiple times and not being able to make contact with ANYONE, I gave up on calling. I then sent an email detailing the situation and saying that I wanted a refund as I no longer needed the items.

Another week later, after no response, I called again and finally reached a representative, a whole month after my graduation. I was told that the order was probably late because I filled out the form incorrectly. I then confirmed that the form was filled out correctly and was told that "some people received their orders on time and some people didn't, we can't control that". I got NO apology or reasoning for the fact that I paid to have my items for a ceremony that had happened more than 4 weeks prior. They also informed me that they could not process my refund because my order was too far along in the process and would be shipping in 3-5 days.

It has now been 2 weeks since I was informed that the order would ship in 3-5 days. I called a few days ago and was told the items haven't shipped yet, and was transferred to the supervisors answering machine. I left a message and haven't gotten a call back from the supervisor. I am fairly certain I am being scammed.

I know that you can't avoid using this company if your school chooses to source their cap and gown rentals here, but just know that their processes are poorly structured and their customer service is non-existent. This is one of the worst and most frustrating experiences I have ever had with a company.

TOTAL SCAM

Ordered my cap and gown SEVEN WEEKS AGO! Emailed five times and just receive generic response. Called twice and was on hold for over one hour and finally gave up. Graduation is Sunday and I have no cap and gown. WHAT A JOKE. I disputed it with my credit card company and hopefully I can get a refund. These people just take your money with no intention of EVER sending ANYTHING! Really wish I checked reviews BEFORE I ordered anything from them. Thank the Lord I didn't order my announcements from them too!

DO NOT TRUST THEM

I needed to threaten them to get my money back. I told them that I will file a complaint with https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/ and they finally gave back my money after 9 weeks. Never trust them.

What company sends out spam emails at almost midnight? Way to wake up this mother thinking we had an emergency!

Terrible Company

Here is what you should do, call their number *******235. Try to reach a person for ANYTHING. I guarantee, you will never consider buying product, any product, from them. They will place you in a perpetual loop of phone prompts to keep from providing service.

Terrible company!

I did not read these before I purchased my son's letter jacket. I wish I would have! They are terrible. Terrible customer service, do not call you back, not enough customer service reps to help you. I have been waiting three weeks for my son's jacket since shipment. I call to check and they are too busy to take your call and the answering machine hangs up on you if you try to wait for a live person! Find another vendor who offers the same stuff and go with them!

Let me start by saying $#*! HERFF JONES, in pandemic America I had to pay 228.17 USD for some cheap cap and gown, 35 announcements; for some $#*!ing virtual ceremony. What hurts me the most is that the schools does not provide any competing company, so they just monopolize the market in order to rape hard working individuals and school age teens and young adult. What their doing is utterly immoral, disgusting, and nauseating. This type of business behavior is unacceptable and something must change. $#*! HERFF JONES. Really wish I could give them a zero star

Graduation 2020 HS DISASTER

Business lacks the fundamental process of providing students with memorable items. During a global pandemic, it's understood that closure was mandated but this place, this place is all about ripping families off by first of all, charging extremely high priced items and low quality items to refusing to furnish the paid and receipt of funds for items. Get your graduates items for anywhere else but this place.

Garbage quality and the Tassel came with NO GRADUATION YEAR! WTF!

My tassel came with NO GRADUATION YEAR! What the heck? That is the least you can do. Your cap and gown is garbage and is the worst quality of any I have owned. The tassel is not even our school colors. I ordered this in Feb 2020. My grad date was May 16,2020. I received my stuff June 18,2020. The least y'all can freaken do is put a graduation year on my tassel. What is the deal with your company? Send me a new tassel that is correctly done! You never respond to ANY emails! NONE ANSWERS the phone either! This company is a JOKE! I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND A TASSEL THAT HAS A GRADUATION YEAR! The tassel is not even my school colors.

Stay away!

This place is ridiculous. I did not even want to give one star. After over a MONTH AND A HALF of purchasing from this website, and wondering and waiting for my order, I had to call them to find out what to do to have my order shipped to my address that I had filled out when completing the form the first time and had expected it to be sent there. This is really ridiculous. They do NOT reach out to you to let you know what's going on. They do NOT give you updates or anything! You have to reach out to them. Im pretty sure had I not called, and had been waiting for a call back for over 2 hours, they probably would have kept my money and not shipped my order! I would NOT recommend any body to order from here! If you can find somewhere else to order from I suggest you do it. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Terrible!

WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER DEALT WITH

"Let's talk about Herff Jones... again!
I graduated the 16th, cap and gown was suppose to be here prior to the virtual ceremony. It wasn't. I tried calling and emailing three weeks prior to graduation and didn't get any answers on either of them. When I did get someone to finally answer the phone they hung up on me!
Monday after graduation I was told it would be shipped Tuesday. Friday came along and they said it hadn't been shipped yet. Today (two weeks after my graduation)... it STILL HASNT BEEN SHIPPED! I have had to cancel my pictures once already and looks like I'm going to have to reschedule a second time as well.
Going on five weeks of trying to get my cap and gown and I'm over it. They won't refund it. They won't send it to me. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Let's update this. We are now at the end of week six of me trying to get ahold of this company to find out where my cap and gown is. It's now 3 weeks past my graduation (thank you Herff Jones for ruining my graduation day by not getting my stuff to me like you all promised it would be), two weekends of graduation parties that I did not get any pictures with my family or friends in my cap and gown, and two weeks after they told me it was sent and it STILL HAS NOT BEEN SENT TO ME! I received another email today from Patricia stating that I was not being ignore but they do not have my original internet reference number... I have sent it to Patricia 3x before today but I went ahead and sent it once again... not like it is going to do any good. I have also been in contact with Nina and I was told I would receive a call back from her Tuesday and I haven't heard from her. I tried calling her yesterday and will try to call her again today.
If product is guaranteed to be here BEFORE our ceremony why is it that I am still fighting this company to receive my products? Clearly no one know how to communicate with each other nor does anyone know how to do their jobs. "

Helpful

Horrible. It took me a month of constant calling and emailing to actually get in contact with a representative. And my issue still has not been resolved.
